Frosty is out of a Flying 2 W's doe we call Puggles and our buck Machimso. Frosty's dam, a first timer this spring, kidded triplets. Frosty only nursed from her dam, tho I did supplement a sister to Frosty starting about 3-4 weeks of age. Frosty's dam is half Nubian, so it is no wonder the mothering and milking abilities seen in Puggles.
Frosty is the best kid out of her dam's triplets. Frosty is a doe I really ought to be keeping, Very well put together and a 75% Boer / 25% Nubian cross, I would expect to see nice kids out of Frosty with mothering and milking abilities paralleled only by her dam.
I am offering Frosty for sale through the 2008 KMGA Production sale as a doe that represents nicely some of what we are doing here at Figbar Farms. Frosty is VERY clean teated and I would expect her to follow in her dam's footsteps. Tho I am keeping Frosty's sister, it wouldn't hurt my feelings at all to bring this doe back home. That's how much I really like her.
Frosty brings length and balance to the table with an expectation of good milk and mothering abilities. Just a REALLY NICE, clean, two teated doe! Registered as 75% Boer, kids out of this doe will be registerable as American Purebreds. In my opinion, this doe would do nicely in either a show animal OR commercial herd. This doe really brings something positive to the table.
